The short version: we collect very little. We don't sell your data. We use a handful of well-known third-party services to keep the Site running and to handle email subscriptions. The longer version follows.
What we collect
If you subscribe to the email digest: we collect your email address and the page you subscribed from (so we know which content prompted the signup). We do not collect your name, IP address, or any other personal information unless you provide it.
If you contact us: whatever you put in your message. This is held in our email and used to respond to you.
If you just visit the Site: standard server access logs at our hosting provider (Vercel) and basic analytics from our infrastructure providers, which include things like the pages you visited and approximate location derived from your IP. We don't run third-party tracking pixels, advertising cookies, or behavioral retargeting infrastructure.
How we use what we collect
Subscriber email addresses are used to send the periodic email digest covering what changed in the AI agent space — model releases, pricing updates, new editorial coverage. We don't rent, sell, or share the subscriber list with third parties.
Contact-form messages are used to respond to you and, if relevant, to inform editorial decisions (for example, if a reader points out an inaccuracy or suggests a platform to review).
Server logs and basic analytics are used to understand which content readers find useful, identify and fix technical issues, and improve the Site over time. We do not use them for advertising, retargeting, or third-party marketing.
Third-party services we use
A short list of the third parties that touch any data you interact with on the Site:
- Vercel — hosts the Site. Receives standard web-server access logs and handles deployment infrastructure. See their privacy policy.
- Cloudflare — handles DNS for the domain. May see request metadata in the course of resolving DNS lookups. See their privacy policy.
- Resend — stores subscriber email addresses and sends any digest emails. Subscribers can unsubscribe at any time via the unsubscribe link in any email. See their privacy policy.
We may add or change service providers over time. Material changes will be reflected here.
Cookies
The Site does not set tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or third-party analytics cookies. The hosting infrastructure may set minimal first-party cookies for performance and security reasons; these are not used to track you across the web.
Children
The Site is intended for adult professionals and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has submitted information through the Site, contact us and we'll delete it.
Your rights
You can unsubscribe from the email digest at any time via the unsubscribe link in any email. You can request that we delete your email address from our subscriber list by contacting us. If you are in a jurisdiction with specific data-protection rights (for example, GDPR in the EU/UK, CCPA in California, or similar), those rights apply to your data and you can exercise them by contacting us.
Data retention
Subscriber email addresses are retained as long as you remain subscribed. After you unsubscribe, the address may persist in backup systems for up to 90 days before being removed. Server logs are typically retained for up to 30 days.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Site after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
